Project Runway 10-22-15 Recap Review

Previously on Project Runway: The designers created a look inspired by the bridges of New York incorporating 3-D printed detailing.

Challenge: The designers were flown to LA where the city served as their inspiration for a red carpet look.

Thoughts In The Workroom: L.A has a Mood puppy! So cute. Ashley's fabric is very pretty. Edmond's fabric is gorgeous as well. Edmond No! Don't shorten! I hope Kelly's pants fit...

Guest Judge: Christian Siriano

Ashely: Boobs! Ashley picked a beautiful gold sequin fabric. However, the dress was not my favorite this week. Ashley's dress was floor length with a-symmetrical sleeves. On one arm, she had a long sleeve. The other arm, she had a spaghetti strap. The chest had a huge cut out between the sleeves that plunged down to her waist. The neckline was not flattering in my opinion. The judges were split on this look. Some of them thought that fabric was dated while others liked it. Heidi actually liked the very open chest because the rest of the model was covered.
Heidi asked:Who would you take with you to fashion week?
Ashley Answered: Kelly and Edmond

Candice: Candice had a WOW moment. Candice had a vision in Mood, and she executed it to perfection. She made a tight black dress with a sparkling netting in the back and above the chest line. This dress was timeless. It fit perfectly and could have been on any red carpet. Candice really brought her A-game this week. She married the challenge with her personal style perfectly. Candice took the judges previous comments to heart and they appreciated it. The judges thought that the look accomplished her goal of showing her sophisticated side. However, they thought that the dress would look fine on the carpet, but not stand out.
Heidi asked: Who would you take with you to fashion week?
Candice Answered:Kelly and Edmond

Edmond: Edmond chose a beautiful red and blue sequin fabric. The fabric was very red carpet...but his dress was not his best. The dress was a miniskirt with a V-neck, big bat sleeves with slits and an open back . I was really expecting a WOW moment from Edmond this week. However, I just do not feel like this dress was right for the challenge. I liked it so much better before he cut it when it was a simple, wide tank sleeve long dress with a V-neck. The judges did not love this look. They thought that this look would be photographed on the red carpet for its fabric. However, they did not think that it would be on the best dressed list.
Heidi asked: Who would you take with you to fashion week?
Edmond Answered: Ashley and Kelly

Kelly: Kelly made a very cute look, as per usual. Following advise from Tim, she decided to make a jumper instead of a gown. She created her own textile by sewing white triangles onto a gold shimmery fabric and then sewing a blue mesh on top. Taking a risk and making her own fabric paid off this week. Her look was a halter top with a triangle cut out in the stomach and a high wasted pant. She trimmed the look with a silver trimming. This outfit fit like a glove and was was just so original and so Kelly. Tim was right to advise her against a gown. The judges really liked this look and applauded Kelly for coming into her own throughout the season. Fashion week, here comes Kelly.
Heidi asked: Who would you take with you to fashion week?
Kelly Answered: Edmond and Candice

Two more weeks until fashion week! Check back next week for another recap review!

    1. Thank you for your comment. I try to keep my posts spoiler free. However, considering the ending this week, I will say that Edmond was auf'ed. However, they did not show Tim sending him to the workroom to clean up his space (Correct me if I am wrong, but I do not think that has ever happened on the show before). Is there a Tim Gunn save coming into play? We will find out next week, but I would deff say that it is a possibility.

Project Runway 10-15-15 Recap Review

Previously on Project Runway: The designers gave members of the Project Runway crew a makeover. Hey guys! Welcome to this week's Project Runway Recap Review! We are getting closer and closer to fashion week each episode and the competition is getting tight. At this point, any of the designers could go home. Last week was packed with drama...but...its a new week, and a fresh slate, so lets get started. Challenge: The five remaining designers will make an outfit inspired by the New York City bridges (Queensborough, Brooklyn, Manhattan). The designers were assigned a bridge from the black bag of doom. Each designer created a textile with a 3-D printer that they had to incorporate into their garment. This is an Avant Garde challenge. Thoughts In The Workroom:  I'm not so sure what I think about 3-D printers...comment down below and let me know what you think about them (in general, not just in fashion). Candice made a good choice not using black again this week. Designers who

The Prom Problem: Underwear (Clean)

Previously on the Prom Problem:  I talked about Bra's for Prom. All the special types that may be the best option for your dress. This Week: I thought that it would only be natural to talk about Underwear next. Underwear lines plague everyone at some point but prom is the last place that you want them to show up.Today we will be solving those nasty underwear lines.  I know that everyone has different opinions about sharing underwear secrets online because it is private I guess for some people, but honestly, I think that it is okay as long as your not doing anything inappropriate. I am just saying this to let you guys know that this post is totally clean so if your thinking "oh my gosh what is she going to show us?" Don't worry about it...you can keep reading. On that note, lets take a look at a few solutions to The Underwear Problem. Solution 1: Thongs I am going to talk about thongs first because I think that they are the most common solution for panty lines.

Special Post- Inner Beauty- The NJ Sharing Network

Hey guys! I have always intended for this blog to be totally dedicated to beauty and fashion, however, this post is going to be a bit different. Well, I mean, it does kind of fit because all the beauty on the outside does not matter if you are not a beautiful person on the inside (which I am sure that all of you are). Recently, my little sister (Linda) had a kidney transplant. She received her new kidney from an organization called the NJ Sharing Network. The NJ Sharing Network is an organization which connects donor families with recipients. I wanted to help give back to the organization that gave my little sister so much...so I created a team for their annual 5K run. My team is called Linda's Home Team. Last year, my team raised around $3000 dollars for the NJ Sharing Network. This year, we are hoping to surpass that. It would mean the world to me if you guys would follow the link below to my page and give a donation to my team. Every penny counts. I love all of my readers so m
