Get Fit For Summer

Hey guys! So today I am just doing a quick little post about a new series coming very soon. Summer for me starts next week, so I thought it would be a good time to start getting in shape...and I thought I would take you guys along with me. So, I am going to be doing a little summer workout series to keep me motivated, and hopefully to keep you motivated as well! I am not going to say exactly what is going in this series, but you can check back everyday to find out!! Also, that you all so SO much for the support this month!! It really truly means so much, and I hope that I have been able to help at least one person. xoxo

Lilly Pulitzer at Target Review

Well, I wish I had some products to review for you guys...but they are all sold out! Lilly Pulitzer for Target was certainly one of Targets most successful collections in their designer series. Usually, I do attend these events early in the morning, but this time, I did not. By the time I got to Target, they were completely sold out of Pulitzer! There were a few items left of her home decor line, but there were no clothing or accessories to be seen! Reports are saying that stores sold out within ten mins. There are several people who purchased mother loads of the collection to re-sell on eBay.  A woman I know said that she went to Target that day for something else and the mother and daughter duo in line ahead of her had purchased two full carts of the collection. Whether you think buying to re-sell is ethical or not, purchasing the collection second hand is the only way to get your hands on it now. Target has released a statement that they will not be restocking their stores. To say L

The Prom Problem: 7 Deadly Sins of Prom

Previously on The Prom Problem: Dress Styles for 2015! Hey guys! Welcome back to The Prom Problem! Today, we are going to talk about the seven deadly sins of Prom. If you have any 'deadly sins' to add to the list, comment down below and let me know! Lets get into it! 1.) Arriving Early To Pick Up Your Date Yes, girls do mean the time they tell you to show up. We gotta get our hair, makeup, nails, and outfit done. It can be time consuming. I promise you, we will be using that whole afternoon off from school to get ready. If you show up early, we might not even have our dress on yet! 2.) Being the First Couple to Prom ALL of the teachers and chaperons talk to the first couple. Not that talking to them is a bad thing, but it can be a bit awk. It is also a tad weird because you end up almost greeting your friends as they walk in. OH, and if press is coming to cover the event, you will totally miss out on that opportunity. 3.) Forgetting Deodorant When your out on the dan

The Prom Problem: Prom Dress Styles 2015

Previously On The Prom Problem: Shape Wear, Stockings and Mens Underwear Hey guys!! Prom season is fast approaching. So today, I thought I would talk a little bit about some of the different styles of dresses that are trendy right now for Prom. I only went to my last Prom a year ago, and styles have changed SO much! So, lets discuss... 1.) Top and Bottom This is probably the most popular dress trend for this Prom season. The two piece dress to match the crop top phase. Most of these dresses feature a high waisted, flowy skirt with a thin waist band. These skirts are often solid colors. The tops to these dresses favor the racer back tank top style. The tops usually are also a solid color and usually have some sort of rhinestone. Some of these tops feature a mesh section above the breast area and over the shoulder to mid back. I personally think that some of these dresses are absolutely stunning. If you can find the right dress in this style, I think you will certainly be on the bes

The Prom Problem: Shape Wear, Stockings and Mens Undergarments (Clean)

Previously on The Prom Problem: What Do I Take With Me To Prom? Hey guys! Today I am going to be talking all about shape wear for Prom. I have done a post about this in the past, but I figured I would go head and do an updated post about it since it has been a few years and I have so new tricks to talk about. Before I get into the post, I just wanted to preface with the fact that there is nothing wrong with wearing shape wear. I promise you, half the people you think look perfect are wearing it too. At formal events, people wear shape wear. Plane and simple, it can enhance your figure and make you feel better about your insecurities. There is nothing wrong with that. Do not opt out of shape wear because you are embarrassed. If you think it looks better on you, wear it. After all, its under the gown or suite...who is every going to even know unless you announce it? Women: 1.) The Body Suite with the Opening at your Chest I took forever to understand this item, but I think it is c

The Prom Problem: What Do I Take With Me To Prom?

Previously on The Prom Problem: Prom Diets Hey guys!! Today I am going to go through all of the things that I like to take with me to prom, so basically this is like a little whats in my purse. Of course, you do not have to take these exact things, but they are just things I liked to bring along to events or that I would suggest carrying with you. 1. Lip Color Of course, lipstick wears off during long night, especially after dinner. If you want to keep that lip game strong all night, bringing along your lip color to reapply is essential. I also brought a chap stick just because sometimes lipstick can be a bit drying, so I wanted to have a lip moisturizer just in case. 2. Safety Pins Hopefully, you will not need these. But, every one in a while, you are out at a fancy event and have a wardrobe malfunction. Having some safety pins on you will prevent any wardrobe malfunction from turning into a night ruining disaster. 3. Blotting Sheets/Translucent Powder For all you girls out

The Prom Problem: Prom Diets

Previously on The Prom Problem: Links to Past Episodes Hey guys! Today I am going to be talking all about Prom diets. This is a post I debated doing, but I decided to go ahead with. Everyone talks about going on a "prom diet" in the spring. The real question is, are you going to go on a diet for your dress, and do your really need to go on a diet at all? I do not believe in never telling someone to go on a diet. Everyone knows what weight is healthy for them, and if they are over it, there is no shame in them saying "for me, I need to go on a diet". With that said, I am not at all telling any of you to actually go on a diet so that you will look good in your prom dress. If you are feeling like you are a few pounds more than you normally are or than is healthy for you, then go ahead and start eating healthier and exercising more. Don't do it for Prom. Do it for yourself and for your health. You will look amazing in your dress whether you shed the extra pounds

DIY Holiday Table Centerpiece Idea Passover Easter

Hey Guys! This is just a quick little DIY post for your Table Center! If you are celebrating Passover, I hope you had a great first night if you are in America. And If you are celebrating it somewhere else in the world, I hope you have a great night tonight. If your celebrating Easter this weekend, I hope you have a great holiday as well! My mom and I had this plant for the table center, but it was not in a very cute pot. Since it was raining, we did not want to run out and get anything...so DIY it was! What we ended up doing was putting it in a clear, glass service container and filling the container with dog bandannas. You could really fill it with anything that you wanted, marbles, fabric scraps etc, but I had a collection of my dog's old bandannas, so we decided to use that. I think it turned out pretty cute and it solved the centerpiece problem. I loved the spring look it gave off so I decided to share the idea with you guys in case you are looking for a last second way to sp
