Freshman Declassified: What Should I Pack For College?

Hey guys! This is a follow up to my last post...and it is all about what you should pack for college. The below items were all lifesavers in many ways and are items that I highly recommend packing. 1. Pyrex Cup --> I used this every single day. Pyrex is microwave safe, so it can cook just about anything that needs to be cooked in the microwave. It is also great for warming up soup, water etc. I also used it to make coffee in because my mug was too large for my coffee maker. Honestly, I can not event think of all the reasons I used this at school, but it was my favorite item 2. Sponge --> Washing dishes in the sink by hand is just not the same as washing them in the dishwasher. After a week or so, I had my mom ship me up a sponge to wash my dishes with. It got them a little bit cleaner than just my hands, which I appreciated because I was starting to feel gross despite washing my dishes every day. 3. Re-Useable Water bottle --> This is something that I did not think of ah

Freshman Declassified: What Not To Pack For College

Previously on Freshman Declassified: I just introduced the series! Hey guys! So as promised, I am back to do another college related post. This post is going to be all about what you do NOT need to take with you to college. I know it can be tempting to take literally everything you own, but trust me, you do not need it all taking up space. If it is, then please take it with you! This is nothing absolute!* 1. High Heels ---> Especially if you are going to a big school. Any college involves a lot of walking. The bigger the school, the more the walking. I honestly never put on a pair of heels. When I needed dressy shoes, I always opted for fancy flats instead. Heels are just not practical when you have to walk a long distance to your destination. 2. Gold Jewelry --> Yes it is most likely sa

Waterproof Summer Makeup Picks

Hey guys! Summer is basically upon us, at least where I live. Makeup in the summer is always tricky. Between the hot sun and all of the water events, it is easy for your makeup to wash away or run down your face. Waterproof makeup is designed to stay on all day despite the weather. Today, I am going to   be talking about some of the best product options for summer makeup. Lets get started! Foundation: Foundation has a reputation for caking, running, and clogging pores in the summer. Personally, I do not wear liquid foundation ever so I do not know much about this area. With that said, I suggest going with a BB Cream with SPF instead of a foundation as it is a bit lighter so it will not crease as badly. I have never tried it, but if you are looking for a place to start, I have read great things about the Dream Fresh BB Cream by Maybelline. Primer and Eyeshadow: I would recommend combining these two steps with a Maybelline Color  Tattoo Cream Shadow. These come in a tone of colors,
