Project Runway Season 13 Episode 8 Recap Review

Hey guys! This week's runway was absolutely amazing and I am about to get to why. I truly believe that all of the designers this season are supremely talented and some of the best yet. This week is the last week that someone will have immunity. As always, this is not sponsored in any way and is based on my opinion and those of the judges. Challenge: This challenge was Aven Gard with a twist, the outfit's had to be waterproof. *Side not, Heidi's red outfit at the runway show was absolutely stunning!* Amanda: Amanda started out with this stunning sad Cleopatra idea. I think that this was a great starting idea for her because the imagery of what she was even thinking was just beautiful. Although this idea was beautiful, the dress was not. The eyeballs were made of some kind of sticky and pealed off on the runway. This is not one of her best work's. Sean: Started out with an all white innocent looking dress. His idea was to add die underneath so that when the design

Homecoming Horribles: What to Wear to Homecoming 2014

Hey guys! So I decided to bring back this mini series since the new school year has started which mean homecoming for many of us. This post is going to be more focused on High School homecoming as I have not actually attended college homecoming and am not sure myself what to wear to it... or if there even is a dance. Separates have made a huge come back recently. I would recommend going with a crop top and a circle skirt set for this event. This way, you can be a little bit sexy for the event while still keeping in tact your girly style. The homecoming dress code is unofficially LBD, if you still want to mesh in wi

Men's Fashion in College

Hey guys! So this is a bit of a different post for me but a friend of mine was telling me how he was trying to figure out men's fashion in college so I decided to  do a post about it. One of the things that he mentioned was that he did not know what the ladies liked. Honestly, every girl is different and they like different looks on guys. Fashion is about expressing who you are, it is not about being who someone else wants you to be. So guy, be yourself. But if you are totally lost, here are a few suggestions for essentials that you can not go wrong with when trying to make your way through the college fashion scene. Personally, I go to a VERY large school, so at a certain point, everyone has to sacrifice fashion for comfort. Lets be honest, nice shoes make you feel good, but they do not make your feet feel good when your walking upwards of two miles per day.  Of course, at a smaller school, some more fashionable shoes may be applicable but you can never go wrong with a good pa
