Project Runway 9-19-13 Review!

Hey guys!! This week was a high packed drama filled episode!! Now, I am going to start out by addressing the drama. Basically what happened was that the boys all moved into one room and when Alexander went into the new room, Ken was blocking the door with his iron and was not moving. They then got into a fight after Alexander pushed Ken and his ironing out of the way. Ken's behavior then spiraled out of control and resulted in him sending a string of profanity towards the Project Runway crew. First of all, I think that both Ken and Alexander were responsible for the situation. It was wrong for Ken not to move so that Alexander could come in, and it was wrong for Alexander to throw the iron. THE IRON! Of all people, a fashion designer knows that an iron is hot and can seriously injure someone!! How in the world he fathomed that throwing it would be a good idea, I will never understand. To that end, exploding to the point where others are scared is not a responsible option either. Ke

Back To School Fashion 2013: Boots!

Previously on Back To School Fashion 2013: I steeped out of the beauty box and gave a bit of advise for High School freshman. Hey guys!! Today I am going to be talking about one of my favorite fashion things for fall...boots!! The fall time is the perfect time to break out the boots! I am not a big fan of wearing boots in the summer because I think that they are really a fall item. Boots can be pusrchased at any department store or from stores like TJ Max and ones in the mall. Now, lets get started talking boooots. Combat Boots: I absolutely LOVE combat boots!! By the nature of what they are originally meant for, combat boots are very functional. They are great if you know you are going to be doing a lot of walking or if you get stuck in a bad situation where you need to run. (Hopefully that does not happen!) Because they are so functional, they are sooo comfortable!! These boots come in black, brown usually but you can find them in different colors an patterns and colors as well.

Homecoming Horribles: What Do I Wear To Homecoming?

Previously on Homecoming Horribles: I introduced the new series. Hey guys!!! Today we are tackling the big fashion horrible when it comes to homecoming...what to wear?? I remember my freshman year being confused about this because at my middle school, everyone just wore jeans but that was not what I heard people did in High School. So today I am going to be giving you a few outfit ideas that are appropriate for homecoming and a few that you should shy away from. Sooooo lets get started!! Girly: Okay so today I am going to start with my girly girls!! If you are looking for something cute and sweet to wear to homecoming, I would suggest going to the mall and heading over to forever 21. Forever 21 usually has a good selection of colored  or patterned dresses that are a bit nicer than an every day dress but are not good enough quality to be considered formal. These are the type of dresses that you are looking for. If you do not find one at forever 21, then my second choice store for a

New Series: Homecoming Horribles!

Hey guys!! Today I am going to be launching a new series that I am SO excited about and I am titling it Homecoming Horribles!! This series is kind of a spin off of my Prom Problem series in that it deals with all of the problems associated with Homecoming. I decided to do this after the success of my spring series. I hope that you all enjoy it and if you have any suggestions, let me know!! xoxo

Back To School Fashion 2013: Freshman Advise

Previously on Back To School Fashion 2013: I talked about leather! Coming up: I am going to give a few tips to high school freshman! Hey guys!!! So as the big kid on the block, I thought that this year I would put together a few tips for high school freshman! Now I know school has started and some of you are already going on week three..but when I was a freshman, I did not figure out the ropes until mid-year at the earliest. Today I am goina break it down into a few do's and dont's so that you do not feel as lost and do not walk around with the word FRESHMAN branded on your face. Dont's: 1.) DO NOT crowd the main entrance in the morning!!! This is seriously the most annoying thing in the world. There is whole school to hang around in a talk. You do not need to block everyone from entering. Also, this mass before school makes fitting throughout the door ways an unnecciarly long process of pushing and shoving through the tiny doorway all at the same time and con

Project Runway Season 12 9-12-13 Review!!

Hey guys!!! Another week, another runway. This week we really got to see the designers break out of their shells. Now that the numbers are getting down, we are able to get a much better view of each of their aesthetics and personalities! I know that the designers had a tough time with this challenge but I actually really liked it!! As always, this post may not correspond to the judges opinions and will NOT contain any spoilers!  Challenge: Make a day or night look for the modern southern woman. The winning look will be sold at Belk. Ken: I am going to kick off today with the southern man of the season. Unfortunately, Ken just did not bring it this week. Ken made a flowy purple gown. I agree that I liked the color but some of the design was questionable. I actually liked the length and I loved the back! I also liked the idea of the seaming on the top. However, the seaming was just poorly done and the neck line was not cut great and it took a flattering dress and made it unflattering
