Back To School Fashion 2013: Boots!

Previously on Back To School Fashion 2013: I steeped out of the beauty box and gave a bit of advise for High School freshman.

Hey guys!! Today I am going to be talking about one of my favorite fashion things for fall...boots!! The fall time is the perfect time to break out the boots! I am not a big fan of wearing boots in the summer because I think that they are really a fall item. Boots can be pusrchased at any department store or from stores like TJ Max and ones in the mall. Now, lets get started talking boooots.

Combat Boots:
I absolutely LOVE combat boots!! By the nature of what they are originally meant for, combat boots are very functional. They are great if you know you are going to be doing a lot of walking or if you get stuck in a bad situation where you need to run. (Hopefully that does not happen!) Because they are so functional, they are sooo comfortable!! These boots come in black, brown usually but you can find them in different colors an patterns and colors as well. I think that combat boots look cute with everything and they are deff a staple piece that everyone should have this fall!

Tall Boots:
Tall boots are great for colder days, especially if you want to wear a dress. I love pairing them with really high socks and a dress because it keeps me warm without having to wear stockings because I am not a big fan of stockings lol. My tall boots are black leather and they come up to right below my knees. I love how high they come because when it is colder, it is almost like wearing a second layer or a heavier pant. Tall boots are another staple piece that are very fashionable for the fall time.

Ankle Boots:
Ankle boots are so cute! They are a great way to accessorize an outfit because some of them are very embellished so they can be like a statement piece OR they can be plain and blend in with the outfit so you can see the other pieces. These boots are not the best for keeping your legs warm but they are perfect for keeping your feet warm! I like how these booties also come in heels so you can dress them up or dress them down. If you have those steep, uncarpeted steps at school I would not recommend the heel kind just because tripping up or down the stairs is not fun.

Uggs:
I have been waiting for Uggs to go out of style forever. I mean don't get me wrong I LOVE them, they have just been around for such a long time I am surprised they are still kicking! Uggs come in a tone of different styles so you really cant go wrong but my favorite kind is the medium ones. I think they are so warm and cozy and perfect for colder days and winter. They are also great to wear around the house on a colder day and are perfect for school because they match and look cute with everything and you don't even need to think about it!

Heeled Boots:
Heeled Boots come in all different shapes and sizes :) You can get them in leather or suede..actually...you can get all the boots that I have been talking about except Uggs in both leather and suede. I think that these are perfect again, because they can be dressed up or down.

That is all for today. If you have a favorite kind of boot that I did not mention, comment below :)
xoxo

Best Fit: How to Start Your Fitness Journey

"Best Fit" Let's start our fitness journey! Incorporating fitness into your daily life is difficult. Life is full of wonderful things to do and it can be hard to prioritize being healthy. Today we are going to jump right in and start incorporating fitness into our daily lives.  *Disclaimer: I am neither a fitness expert nor a doctor. I am here to build a community, not give professional advise. Before beginning your fitness journey, check with your medical professionals to make sure you are physically healthy enough to complete any activities suggested. 1. Pick a time of day for your workout: Picking a time of day is a great first step in starting a healthier lifestyle. Putting it on your calendar (maybe even setting up a reminder notice) will help you hold yourself accountable. It will also remind you that you have set aside time that day to go to the gym so you do not double book yourself.  Personally, I prefer to work out in the late afternoon/ea

Project Runway 10-15-15 Recap Review

Previously on Project Runway: The designers gave members of the Project Runway crew a makeover. Hey guys! Welcome to this week's Project Runway Recap Review! We are getting closer and closer to fashion week each episode and the competition is getting tight. At this point, any of the designers could go home. Last week was packed with drama...but...its a new week, and a fresh slate, so lets get started. Challenge: The five remaining designers will make an outfit inspired by the New York City bridges (Queensborough, Brooklyn, Manhattan). The designers were assigned a bridge from the black bag of doom. Each designer created a textile with a 3-D printer that they had to incorporate into their garment. This is an Avant Garde challenge. Thoughts In The Workroom:  I'm not so sure what I think about 3-D printers...comment down below and let me know what you think about them (in general, not just in fashion). Candice made a good choice not using black again this week. Designers who
