Revlon Photo Ready Eye Shadow Review!!

Hey Guys!! I have not done a review for a while so I decided to go ahead an review a product that I have been loving for quite some time now. Revlon has a whole line of photo ready products which are perfect because you never know when someone is going to snap the camera! The line includes a foundation, several eye shadow pallets and  a few other items. Today, I am going to be reviewing the eye shadow pallets since I have been trying them out for a while and I really think they are worth investing in.

First of all, I love the packaging and the name of the product. In today's world, pictures are taken all the time and no one wants a gross picture of themselves posted all over the Internet. Therefore, I think that the name "photo ready" is perfect because it will suck just about anyone in.
During the spring time, I tried out the Bohemian 530 eye shadow pallet and I liked most of the colors in it individually but I thought that they blue did not really look good with the rest of the colors but mixed with other eye shadows it was pretty. One of the things that I love about the pallet is that the bottom left color had primer already in it so when you are in a rush in the morning, you can eliminate that step from your makeup routine. The back of the packaging explains step by step where the creators of the pallet intended each color to go. This is great again, if you are rushing to get ready or if you are just staring out wearing makeup and need some guidance. I think that the gold color in the bottom right corner of the Bohemian 530 is stunning and although it is the smallest color in the pallet, it is totally worth buying the pallet for. I really liked the pigmentation of this pallet for summer because it was vibrant but at the same time, neutral enough for the warmer months. The Revlon Photo Ready line is great for summer in general because it is designed to stay on all day which is essential when it is hot outside. Sometimes, when products advertise that they stay on all day, they do not but these eye shadows really do stay on. I think that this is probably due to the primer in the base coat shadow.
This fall, I picked out another one of the eye shadow pallets since I used my Bohemian pallet so much during the spring and summer. I decided to pick up the Metropolitan 501 and I have been wearing it every single day since I got it. This pallet is filled with neutral colors that have great pigmentation and stay on all day. I love this pallet just as much as my other one because it gives a flawless finish and stays on all day. I may even love this one a bit more because I feel like all of the colors really go well together. There is not one outlying color like in my other pallet. I recommend investing in this makeup line's eye shadow because it really is the perfect formula and the colors are stunning. There are several different eye shadow quads so you can pick out any of the pallets that emulate your taste. If you try this product, leave a comment below and tell me what you think of it. Also, I know that the foundation and BB cream are popular products from this line but I have not tried them out because I do not really wear foundation but if you have tried them out, let me know what you think.
xoxo

Project Runway 10-15-15 Recap Review

Previously on Project Runway: The designers gave members of the Project Runway crew a makeover. Hey guys! Welcome to this week's Project Runway Recap Review! We are getting closer and closer to fashion week each episode and the competition is getting tight. At this point, any of the designers could go home. Last week was packed with drama...but...its a new week, and a fresh slate, so lets get started. Challenge: The five remaining designers will make an outfit inspired by the New York City bridges (Queensborough, Brooklyn, Manhattan). The designers were assigned a bridge from the black bag of doom. Each designer created a textile with a 3-D printer that they had to incorporate into their garment. This is an Avant Garde challenge. Thoughts In The Workroom:  I'm not so sure what I think about 3-D printers...comment down below and let me know what you think about them (in general, not just in fashion). Candice made a good choice not using black again this week. Designers wh...

Project Runway 10-26-15 Final Part 1 Recap Review

Previously on Project Runway: The designers created a Red Carpet look. Thoughts in the Workroom: I knew Edmond would get the save!! Edmond really did deserve it. Not coming in prepaired must put on so much pressure. Candice's red and white pants are SO cute! Wait, Ashley what is that stain remover stuff? I need that. Challenge: The designers will show the judges three looks from their collection for feedback. One of those looks would be created from scratch, in the workroom . Guest Judge: No one this week. Home Visits From Tim : Ashley: Tim visited Ashley's hometown where she revealed her Mexican heritage. Ashley is creating a plus sized collection. I think that it is awesome that she is going for it. There is such a need for quality, fashionable, plus-sized clothing. Ashley's mother supported her vision stating the importance of Ashley's vision. Tim praised Ashley for her innovation with her floral headpieces, however, he warned her that the judges may cal...

Project Runway 10-22-15 Recap Review

Previously on Project Runway: The designers created a look inspired by the bridges of New York incorporating 3-D printed detailing. Challenge: The designers were flown to LA where the city served as their inspiration for a red carpet look. Thoughts In The Workroom: L.A has a Mood puppy! So cute. Ashley's fabric is very pretty. Edmond's fabric is gorgeous as well. Edmond No! Don't shorten! I hope Kelly's pants fit... Guest Judge: Christian Siriano Ashely: Boobs! Ashley picked a beautiful gold sequin fabric. However, the dress was not my favorite this week. Ashley's dress was floor length with a-symmetrical sleeves. On one arm, she had a long sleeve. The other arm, she had a spaghetti strap. The chest had a huge cut out between the sleeves that plunged down to her waist. The neckline was not flattering in my opinion. The judges were split on this look. Some of them thought that fabric was dated while others liked it. Heidi actually liked the very open c...
