Maybelline Baby Lips Review!!

Okayyyy so youu guys all know that I have a bit of a fetish with lip products. I tried to films a video for my beauty channel of a lip product collection and it ended up being literally 30 mins so I had to cut it down before uploading (If you haven't seen it I will link it below). In addition, in case you didn't know, I do have allergies to a lot of lip products but I like to try new ones anyway and I just hope for the best and then just don't use them again if I am allergic to them. I have seen so many beauty guru's rave about Baby Lips on YouTube and I had not tried them so I decided to give them a go. I went to Target today bright and early to check out the Prabal Gurung collection (If you want me to review that I can do that as well just leave me a comment and let me know) and I picked up the Peach Baby Lips.
For starters, the packaging is adorable. I honestly love packageing. I don't know why but I am deff one of those people who is more likely to buy something in a fun package. The one I got is in a purple tube with a clear cap that says Baby Lips on it in peach. I was so excited to try this product and put it on as soon as I got home. Absolutely loooove the texture of the product. It is not dry like a lot of chap sticks but it is not wet either. It is legit like putting butter on your lips. It is so moisturizing and so smooth. I love that because it just glides on really easy and you don't need to put on a lot at once to do the job; which means that this product will last me a while. I also like how it is a tiny bit pigmented but not as pigmented as a lipstick. It is perfect for those days that you just want to add a touch of color to your lips but don't really want anything too dramatic. Another thing that I really liked was that the product lived up to its name. Baby skin is so post to be soft and honestly, my lips were soooooo soft after having the product on for a few hours!! I have not really found any product that makes my lips soft so I am soo glad that I tried Baby Lips.
There is only one thing that kinda bothers me about Baby Lips...but its not a big enough deal to stop me from going out and buying the rest of the collection because I really want to right now haha.. Okay so the only downer is the smell. When I first opened my Baby Lips, I was like in heaven. It smelled SO GOOD and SO much like peaches!! However, I think that the sent is a little on the strong side for me. I do not like really strong scents and am usually allergic to them as well. Hopefully, that wont be a problem because honestly, the smell is a bit too strong but like I said, it wont stop me from buying more flavors of them. I just want to warn you in case that is a quality that you do not like in a product. Also, I just want to mention that you can smell the product on your lip for a lenghty period of time. Some people may think its good, some bad, but I thought that I would mention that as well.

Overall, I really do like the Baby Lips product. I think that it was deff a worthy purchase and something that I would purchase again in the future. Like I said, mine came from target so they are not too expensive which is an added bonus as well. If you decide to give Baby Lip a try (or already have) leave a comment and tell me what you think of them and also, let me know if you thought that the sent was too strong.
xoxoxo

  1. How can so many people rave about a product that has so many chemicals in it? This is truly garbage and should not even be sold. Please start reviewing and using natural products that won't kill a small mouse like Baby Lips. Have you ever tried Buddha Balm? That's a real winner.

Project Runway 10-15-15 Recap Review

Previously on Project Runway: The designers gave members of the Project Runway crew a makeover. Hey guys! Welcome to this week's Project Runway Recap Review! We are getting closer and closer to fashion week each episode and the competition is getting tight. At this point, any of the designers could go home. Last week was packed with drama...but...its a new week, and a fresh slate, so lets get started. Challenge: The five remaining designers will make an outfit inspired by the New York City bridges (Queensborough, Brooklyn, Manhattan). The designers were assigned a bridge from the black bag of doom. Each designer created a textile with a 3-D printer that they had to incorporate into their garment. This is an Avant Garde challenge. Thoughts In The Workroom:  I'm not so sure what I think about 3-D printers...comment down below and let me know what you think about them (in general, not just in fashion). Candice made a good choice not using black again this week. Designers wh...

The Prom Problem: Underwear (Clean)

Previously on the Prom Problem:  I talked about Bra's for Prom. All the special types that may be the best option for your dress. Underwear lines plague everyone at some point but prom is the last place that you want them to show up.Today we will be solving those nasty underwear lines.  I know that everyone has different opinions about sharing underwear secrets online because it is private I guess for some people, but honestly, I think that it is okay as long as your not doing anything inappropriate. I am just saying this to let you guys know that this post is totally clean so if your thinking "oh my gosh what is she going to show us?" Don't worry about it...you can keep reading. On that note, lets take a look at a few solutions to The Underwear Problem. Solution 1: Thongs I am going to talk about thongs first because I think that they are the most common solution for panty lines. ...

Special Post- Inner Beauty- The NJ Sharing Network

Hey guys! I have always intended for this blog to be totally dedicated to beauty and fashion, however, this post is going to be a bit different. Well, I mean, it does kind of fit because all the beauty on the outside does not matter if you are not a beautiful person on the inside (which I am sure that all of you are). Recently, my little sister (Linda) had a kidney transplant. She received her new kidney from an organization called the NJ Sharing Network. The NJ Sharing Network is an organization which connects donor families with recipients. I wanted to help give back to the organization that gave my little sister so much...so I created a team for their annual 5K run. My team is called Linda's Home Team. Last year, my team raised around $3000 dollars for the NJ Sharing Network. This year, we are hoping to surpass that. It would mean the world to me if you guys would follow the link below to my page and give a donation to my team. Every penny counts. I love all of my re...
