May Favorites!!

Hey guys!! And another month has passed us by! For those of us in school, that means that we have either finished up for the year or are gearing up for the last day! I know that I can not wait to be summer free and have so much more time to post and start more regularly uploading to YouTube and making new cloths and AH everything!!! This month has been a pretty decent month for me and I hope that you guys have all had a good month as well. I know that I am posting this a bit late so I am going to forgo the pictures for this month :( As always, I am just going to disclaim that I am not being sponsored by any of these products or companies and that these are all my own opinions. So without further a do.....

1.) My first favorite this month is those wire headbands, hair ties!! I know that they sell some at Brandy but I do not have one by me BUT I found these hair accessories at Clair's and I am OBSESSED!! Basically, it is like a headband or a tie for a bun or ponytail but it has wire in it so you can bend the bow to fit how you want it to look. I got a white one in lace but they had several other patterns and I will deff be taking another trip to the mall to get some more! They are great for the summer, especially if you work at a day camp like me, because they are cute and you can add them to an up do when you are hot and do not want to have your hair down AND they are not too hard to get out but they are difficult enough that a 5 year old will not try!! My campers always love to pull out my hair accessories so this is a huge bonus for me lol. My little one plus two earring cuffs was about $19 so it is not terribly expensive and I deff recommend picking up a few!!

2.) The next favorite of the month of may for me is dresses!! It has been pretty hot where I live for most of may and that is the perfect reason to break out the sun dresses! I never really wear dresses during the winter time because I just feel like it is too cold even with tights so I was super excited to wear my dress collection this month!! TJ Max has a fabulous dress selection if you are looking for something cute and affordable. I have also been loving wearing dresses that I made, but I have a future post planned for that so I am not going to talk about it here.

3.) My next favorite of the month is the Revlon eyeshadow pack in Bohemian. Revlon had so many looks in their new collection this season and they all looked amazing but I decided to pick up this one and check it out. There are five very different colors which is great because you can make a tone of different looks with them! Unfortunately, my favorite in the pack is the one that has the leas amount of product in it and that is a gold sparkly color! This is the perfect lid color for everyday or a great highlight if you are going out at night! I have been using this color seriously every day and it is just Gorgas and amazing and honestly worth buying the pack just for this little color. While we are on the topic of gold, there is another gold color in the pack and it is a darker gold shimmery color. This, again, is a great color for the lid. I like to use this color when I do not have a tone of time for my makeup in the morning because it is very pigmented so a little goes a long way. One of the best things about this pack is that all of the colors are really really pigmented. However, with the brown and the blue, you really have to be careful not to over do it. Both of the colors look light in the packaging but they come out dark so be ware! The final color is a peachy sparkly color and this is probably my second favorite! I just think that this color is gorgeous for summer because it makes you look tan and it goes with everything! I picked up this pack for like 5 ish dollars in the drug store so it is totally affordable and deff worth the investment!

4.) My fourth favorite this month is my gold rings! I have started to sleep in three gold rings that were passed down to me from family members and I absolutely love them! The school year is going out with a bang and I have had so much work that I am rushing every morning to get dressed and have not had much time to pick out outfits or jewelry. However, by sleeping in my rings, I know that I will never be without jewelry! I do not recommend that you sleep in jewelry that is not real gold or sliver because it could break or cause discoloration or irritation to your skin.

5.)My last favorite of the month is two hand sanitizers that I picked up recently from Bath and Body works! The scents that I got were lemon and strawberry! Guys, these literally smell exactly what they sound like! The lemon one I keep in my room to use after I put in my hair products to counteract the stickiness on my hands. What is great about the lemon sent is that it is so strong and delicious that I do not even need to use perfume or body spray in the am which saves me a bit of time. The strawberry one is housed in my car so me and my friends can use it while we are on the go. After all, hand sanitizer is like a necessity when you are out and about. I got these two on sale for a 5 for 5 dollar deal or something to that effect so they were really really cheap. I love the bath and body works hand sanitizers because they smell amazing, they work amazing, and they are so cute!

And that is it for my favorites from the month of May. Check back at the end of June to see what I have been loving for June! (and I promise pictures next Month!)

Best Fit: How to Start Your Fitness Journey

"Best Fit" Let's start our fitness journey! Incorporating fitness into your daily life is difficult. Life is full of wonderful things to do and it can be hard to prioritize being healthy. Today we are going to jump right in and start incorporating fitness into our daily lives.  *Disclaimer: I am neither a fitness expert nor a doctor. I am here to build a community, not give professional advise. Before beginning your fitness journey, check with your medical professionals to make sure you are physically healthy enough to complete any activities suggested. 1. Pick a time of day for your workout: Picking a time of day is a great first step in starting a healthier lifestyle. Putting it on your calendar (maybe even setting up a reminder notice) will help you hold yourself accountable. It will also remind you that you have set aside time that day to go to the gym so you do not double book yourself.  Personally, I prefer to work out in the late afternoon/ea

Project Runway 10-15-15 Recap Review

Previously on Project Runway: The designers gave members of the Project Runway crew a makeover. Hey guys! Welcome to this week's Project Runway Recap Review! We are getting closer and closer to fashion week each episode and the competition is getting tight. At this point, any of the designers could go home. Last week was packed with drama...but...its a new week, and a fresh slate, so lets get started. Challenge: The five remaining designers will make an outfit inspired by the New York City bridges (Queensborough, Brooklyn, Manhattan). The designers were assigned a bridge from the black bag of doom. Each designer created a textile with a 3-D printer that they had to incorporate into their garment. This is an Avant Garde challenge. Thoughts In The Workroom:  I'm not so sure what I think about 3-D printers...comment down below and let me know what you think about them (in general, not just in fashion). Candice made a good choice not using black again this week. Designers who
