Hot For Summer: Watter Weight

Previously on Hot For Summer: I talked about finding the right beach wear
Coming Up: I am going to talk about how to get a head start on that weight loss and how watter plays into it.

Okay, so this isn't the longest post in the world but I learned some stuff at camp and I thought that I would share it. One of the most annoying things about weight is knowing that a good 5 pounds of it is watter weight. Personally, I always have a hard time getting rid of this because salty food just happens. However, I learned that flushing your body with a lot of watter can actually help get rid of this weight. This is because the weight is caused by watter retention due to dehydration. Therefore, drinking watter hydrates your body and eliminates the need for holding in the fluid and allows for weight loss. This brings me to my next point. How do you know when you are dehydrated?? Here comes my camp fact, if you feel thirsty...you are already dehydrated. Thus, exploiting the need to drink watter periodically thought the day. By keeping yourself hydrated, you will be able to knock off a few pounds very easy and boost your confidence about loosing weight.

Is The Rhode Peptide Lip Treatment Worth the Hype?

Hey Fashionista's! Today we are going to talk all about Hailey Bieber's Rhode Skincare line. This is not sponsored, I just really wanted to talk about these products. This semester in my public speaking class, I taught a unit all about persuasive speaking. My goal was to make the topic of persuasive speaking more relatable by showing how prevalent it is in our modern world. What was the product I brought in to show the power of persuasive speaking in the "influencer era"? You bet it was the Rhode Peptide Lip Treatment. If you are a longtime reader, you know I rarely talk about skin care. Actually, I have probably never talked about skin care. That's because I don't really know what to say. I don't ever buy the trendy products because I am allergic to so many of them and if not, they make me break out. BUT Hailey Bieber got me- talk about effective persuasive speaking. I watched a few videos on YouTube of her using the products and talking about their ing...

June Favorites!!

Hey guys!! Another fabulous month has passed and what a month it has been! June was very stressful for me but also the biggest relif because it was the end of school and training for the day camp that I worked at. So I have a good amount of favorites for the month of June so I am going to go on and get into it. 1.) My  first favorite of the month is my Maybeleen concealer stick. I decided to stray from my Almay holy grail concealer and try out a more full coverage concealer because I was not getting a whole lot of sleep due to school so I had lovely dark circles. I have been using this product every day and kind of have a love hate relationship with it but decided to include it. Lets start with the pros. I love that it makes my undereyes glow and wakes me up a bit. I also love the coverage that it gives. NO dark circles will be seen when you use this product. I also really like the texture because it is really creamy and easy to apply. Now for the cons. I am pretty tan and so I b...
