May Favorites 2014!

Hey guys! So it has been a while since I have done a favorites post and since my computer died And I am writing from my phone I am not going to be able to insert pictures this month. Basically, my Internet Doesn't come up on my computer and I did a virus scan and deleted 3 threats but the Internet still Doesn't work. This is like the fifteenth millionth time it has happened and then  one day It starts working again. So if you happen to know why it's doing that, please comment below and let me know! Anyway, I have a few products and things to talk about so let's get into it!

Revlon Lip Butter:
You guys know that I am a fan of these products. I picked up a new one and I am just absolutely in love with it! I have been on the hunt for the perfect light pink for a while now and really wanted it as an option for Prom. So, I purchased the cupcake one and it was exactly what I was looking for! Initially, I thought it was a bit too purple for me because it does have a slight purple undertone but after a few usages, I fell in love with it. This product is very build able but still pigmented if you just do one light coat. If feels absolutely amazing on and is moisturizing and it lasts a decent amount of time. Overall, I just think that it is a fabulous product and I am really happy with my new one.

Chocker Necklaces:
When I was in sixth grade, wearing black chocker necklaces trying to look like Lindsay Lohan in Mean Girls was undeniably a thing. I was a huge wearer of the tattoo chocker and I guess I just stopped wearing them as we moved further away from the 90's. Recently, I dug up my old ones and have really been into wearing them! This moth I have broken out all the chockers that I still had from when I was younger as well as made some DIY ones that I am absolutely in love with and I have just really been enjoying wearing them. I honestly am so happy these are coming back into vogue because I just think they are very flattering, especially the black ones.

Maxi Skirts:
I wore my black maxi skirt this month and it just reminded me how much I love if. Maxi skirts are so comfortable. They really, truly are. Also, they make you look as if you actually tried with your outfit in the am when you really did not. That is a huge plus! I think a black maxi skirt is really a staple piece because it can go with any top and be dressed up or down very easily. Of course, other colors are great too but if you do not have any maxi skirts at all and just want an easy one to style, I deff recommend choosing a black one.

Music:
I don't usually do music favorites but I really need to this month. First I just want to acknowledge how talented Christian Grimme is and how amazing she did on The Voice! That alone is a music favorite. Also, Automatic by Miranda Lambert is absolutely everything! I am also really enjoying Classic by MKTO. I think the lyrics to both songs are just so on point and they are just both really amazing songs.

Music Videos:
Let's just stop and appreciate the greatness that is Chandeleir by Sia. I think the idea to take a powerful song and do a straight up dance was brilliant. Maddie Zeigler was very good and really showed her incredible ability for her age. I think that this video as a whole really captured the mood of the song and just added so much to it.

Okay that is about it for my monthly favorites. Check back again soon for some more content (hopefully with pictures soon!)
Xoxo

Project Runway 10-15-15 Recap Review

Previously on Project Runway: The designers gave members of the Project Runway crew a makeover. Hey guys! Welcome to this week's Project Runway Recap Review! We are getting closer and closer to fashion week each episode and the competition is getting tight. At this point, any of the designers could go home. Last week was packed with drama...but...its a new week, and a fresh slate, so lets get started. Challenge: The five remaining designers will make an outfit inspired by the New York City bridges (Queensborough, Brooklyn, Manhattan). The designers were assigned a bridge from the black bag of doom. Each designer created a textile with a 3-D printer that they had to incorporate into their garment. This is an Avant Garde challenge. Thoughts In The Workroom:  I'm not so sure what I think about 3-D printers...comment down below and let me know what you think about them (in general, not just in fashion). Candice made a good choice not using black again this week. Designers wh...

The Prom Problem: Underwear (Clean)

Previously on the Prom Problem:  I talked about Bra's for Prom. All the special types that may be the best option for your dress. This Week: I thought that it would only be natural to talk about Underwear next. Underwear lines plague everyone at some point but prom is the last place that you want them to show up.Today we will be solving those nasty underwear lines.  I know that everyone has different opinions about sharing underwear secrets online because it is private I guess for some people, but honestly, I think that it is okay as long as your not doing anything inappropriate. I am just saying this to let you guys know that this post is totally clean so if your thinking "oh my gosh what is she going to show us?" Don't worry about it...you can keep reading. On that note, lets take a look at a few solutions to The Underwear Problem. Solution 1: Thongs I am going to talk about thongs first because I think that they are the most common solution for panty lines. ...

Special Post- Inner Beauty- The NJ Sharing Network

Hey guys! I have always intended for this blog to be totally dedicated to beauty and fashion, however, this post is going to be a bit different. Well, I mean, it does kind of fit because all the beauty on the outside does not matter if you are not a beautiful person on the inside (which I am sure that all of you are). Recently, my little sister (Linda) had a kidney transplant. She received her new kidney from an organization called the NJ Sharing Network. The NJ Sharing Network is an organization which connects donor families with recipients. I wanted to help give back to the organization that gave my little sister so much...so I created a team for their annual 5K run. My team is called Linda's Home Team. Last year, my team raised around $3000 dollars for the NJ Sharing Network. This year, we are hoping to surpass that. It would mean the world to me if you guys would follow the link below to my page and give a donation to my team. Every penny counts. I love all of my re...
