Elf Nail Polish Review

Hey guys! Today I am going to be reviewing the Elf Nail polishes. My mom and I bought a four pack to share in full size and then my grandmother have me a mini fall collection set so since I have been using so much of it lately, I though that I would go ahead and review it.

Color:
The colors of this brand are deff one of my favorite things. There are so many shades to choose from and they are all very pigmented. I have yet to run across one that did not give good pigmentation. The color selection is very pretty!! Occasionally, they do not look exactly like they do in the bottle on the nail if that makes sense. But overall, I would give the color a 5 out of 5.

Formula:
The formula can be one of the best things about this product but it can also be the worst thing about this product. I have found that these polishes either have a creamy, easy to apply formula or they have a streaky formula. I find that the lighter colors are more likely the creamy texture as well as the darker colors. However, the bright colors are more often the streaky ones. This is not to say that this rule applies 100%, obviously, I have not tried out every color but that is a trend that I have deff noticed. Overall, I would give the formula a 3 out of 5. The formulas that are good are like a 5 out of 5 but the ones that are bad are like a 2 out o 5.

Durability:
Okay so this kind of goes along with what I said above. The creamy ones can last for a solid week and still look decent. I have a full size of Lilac which is a very pretty matte light purple and it lasts forever. Again, a lighter color and it has a great formula. However, I also have a full size of Teal Blue, which is a very deceptive name because this color is like Emerald Green...like Wizard of OZ Emerald Green, and it chips in 24 hours. It is such a shame because it is really a pretty color but it is just such bad quality and it does not last for more than three days because it starts to look so bad it just can't stay. I would give durability another 3 out of 5 overall, but like I said before, the ones that are good are a 5 out of 5.

Price:
I do not remember the exact price of the four pack that my mom and I bought full sized but it was not that expensive as Elf is not a high end brand. We purchased our four pack at TJ Max, but I am sure that you can find this brand at a drug store or your local food store. The mini set that I have was a gift so I do not know the price, but again, do not think that it was too expensive.  Price gets a 5 out of 5.

Overall Opinion:
Overall, I think that the Elf nail polishes are worth purchasing because they are very pretty and the ones that area good are really good. However, I would stay away from the bright colors because even though it is summer and they are SO pretty, they are just poorly formulated and you are going to be constantly touching up or re-painting your nails. So overall, I would give these polishes a 4 out of 5.

Okay, that is everything for my Elf Nail Polish review. If you have tried these out before, leave me a comment below and let me know what your thought of them and what you would rate them. Also, let me know which ones you have tried.
xoxo

Project Runway 10-15-15 Recap Review

Previously on Project Runway: The designers gave members of the Project Runway crew a makeover. Hey guys! Welcome to this week's Project Runway Recap Review! We are getting closer and closer to fashion week each episode and the competition is getting tight. At this point, any of the designers could go home. Last week was packed with drama...but...its a new week, and a fresh slate, so lets get started. Challenge: The five remaining designers will make an outfit inspired by the New York City bridges (Queensborough, Brooklyn, Manhattan). The designers were assigned a bridge from the black bag of doom. Each designer created a textile with a 3-D printer that they had to incorporate into their garment. This is an Avant Garde challenge. Thoughts In The Workroom:  I'm not so sure what I think about 3-D printers...comment down below and let me know what you think about them (in general, not just in fashion). Candice made a good choice not using black again this week. Designers wh...

The Prom Problem: Underwear (Clean)

Previously on the Prom Problem:  I talked about Bra's for Prom. All the special types that may be the best option for your dress. This Week: I thought that it would only be natural to talk about Underwear next. Underwear lines plague everyone at some point but prom is the last place that you want them to show up.Today we will be solving those nasty underwear lines.  I know that everyone has different opinions about sharing underwear secrets online because it is private I guess for some people, but honestly, I think that it is okay as long as your not doing anything inappropriate. I am just saying this to let you guys know that this post is totally clean so if your thinking "oh my gosh what is she going to show us?" Don't worry about it...you can keep reading. On that note, lets take a look at a few solutions to The Underwear Problem. Solution 1: Thongs I am going to talk about thongs first because I think that they are the most common solution for panty lines. ...

Special Post- Inner Beauty- The NJ Sharing Network

Hey guys! I have always intended for this blog to be totally dedicated to beauty and fashion, however, this post is going to be a bit different. Well, I mean, it does kind of fit because all the beauty on the outside does not matter if you are not a beautiful person on the inside (which I am sure that all of you are). Recently, my little sister (Linda) had a kidney transplant. She received her new kidney from an organization called the NJ Sharing Network. The NJ Sharing Network is an organization which connects donor families with recipients. I wanted to help give back to the organization that gave my little sister so much...so I created a team for their annual 5K run. My team is called Linda's Home Team. Last year, my team raised around $3000 dollars for the NJ Sharing Network. This year, we are hoping to surpass that. It would mean the world to me if you guys would follow the link below to my page and give a donation to my team. Every penny counts. I love all of my re...
