Project Runway Season 13 Episode 4 Recap Review

Hey guys! So not much to say in this intro except Bethany Motta guest judged!! Was so excited to see her. Personally, I am such a fan of her channel and I was happy to hear her opinions on the show. Regular disclaimers and all that. Lets get into it.

Challenge: To make a high fashion outfit out of a men's suite. The suite the designers got was picked by last weeks winner.

Top 3:
Kini: Kini created a black dress with  a pin stripe detail. He made cap sleeve constructed shoulders. It had a plunge neck line trimmed with pin stripe. His skirt was full and every other was pin stripe. It had little cut outs in the bodice and he left the pockets on. I honestly loved this one and I thought that it was one of the most runway ready outfits. The challenge was to be High Fashion and this was certainly High Fashion. I think that he is a talented designer and we might just see him go to the finals.

Amanda: She made a patchy dress with the two materials inside out and she added fringe increasing it as it went down. The fringe moved fabulously on the runway and it really looked editorial. This dress looked effortless and was well fitting on the model. She has deff bounced back in a big way from being eliminated on her first season.

Alexander: I am SO happy that he finally got it together and got into the top. His crop top was black with a structured neck line and a white stripe and white lining. The skirt was T length and pelted full. The proportions were spot on and the outfit could certainly be bought any day by a plethora of women. I agree that Alexander should be the fan favorite. I love him too. And I am so glad that he got a confidence boost this week because I feel like he needed it. His talent is there, he just needs to keep on bringing his A game.

Bottom 3:
Christine: She made a plumpish red color jacket with zipper details and a cold shoulder with black sleeves. I think that this piece was outstanding..but it was not finished. She sent pins and TAPE down the runway. Where she fell down was the pants. Her pants almost looked velvet but then they had this weird sheer material on the bottom because she ran out of material.

Shawn: The top he made was a long sleeve crop top that was shredded and it was a blech boring color. The skirt was deconstructed and kinds sloppy looking. In addition, it had the same blech boring colors. I really do not know what else to say about this one except that it was unfortunate.

Hernan: This last dress was terrible. It was boring white High Low with a low V. In addition, it had a big V pointing to the lower regions. Nina was spot on with the Vagina Hero comment. The brown details from the suite looked like poorly placed duct tape. This dress was absolutely sad and it just was not up to Project Runway standards. I know he blamed it all on the material, but lets be honest, a bad attitude is the fast track to a bad dress.

Thats it for this week! If you haven't seen the episode, head on over to lifetime.com or watch it on the mobile Lifetime app. Also, be sure to check out Bethany Motta's YouTube channel macbarbie07!

Project Runway 10-15-15 Recap Review

Previously on Project Runway: The designers gave members of the Project Runway crew a makeover. Hey guys! Welcome to this week's Project Runway Recap Review! We are getting closer and closer to fashion week each episode and the competition is getting tight. At this point, any of the designers could go home. Last week was packed with drama...but...its a new week, and a fresh slate, so lets get started. Challenge: The five remaining designers will make an outfit inspired by the New York City bridges (Queensborough, Brooklyn, Manhattan). The designers were assigned a bridge from the black bag of doom. Each designer created a textile with a 3-D printer that they had to incorporate into their garment. This is an Avant Garde challenge. Thoughts In The Workroom:  I'm not so sure what I think about 3-D printers...comment down below and let me know what you think about them (in general, not just in fashion). Candice made a good choice not using black again this week. Designers wh...

The Prom Problem: Underwear (Clean)

Previously on the Prom Problem:  I talked about Bra's for Prom. All the special types that may be the best option for your dress. This Week: I thought that it would only be natural to talk about Underwear next. Underwear lines plague everyone at some point but prom is the last place that you want them to show up.Today we will be solving those nasty underwear lines.  I know that everyone has different opinions about sharing underwear secrets online because it is private I guess for some people, but honestly, I think that it is okay as long as your not doing anything inappropriate. I am just saying this to let you guys know that this post is totally clean so if your thinking "oh my gosh what is she going to show us?" Don't worry about it...you can keep reading. On that note, lets take a look at a few solutions to The Underwear Problem. Solution 1: Thongs I am going to talk about thongs first because I think that they are the most common solution for panty lines. ...

Special Post- Inner Beauty- The NJ Sharing Network

Hey guys! I have always intended for this blog to be totally dedicated to beauty and fashion, however, this post is going to be a bit different. Well, I mean, it does kind of fit because all the beauty on the outside does not matter if you are not a beautiful person on the inside (which I am sure that all of you are). Recently, my little sister (Linda) had a kidney transplant. She received her new kidney from an organization called the NJ Sharing Network. The NJ Sharing Network is an organization which connects donor families with recipients. I wanted to help give back to the organization that gave my little sister so much...so I created a team for their annual 5K run. My team is called Linda's Home Team. Last year, my team raised around $3000 dollars for the NJ Sharing Network. This year, we are hoping to surpass that. It would mean the world to me if you guys would follow the link below to my page and give a donation to my team. Every penny counts. I love all of my re...
