Get Fit For Summer: Workout On The Beach/ Beach Vacation Workouts

The beach is the perfect place to relax, but it is also the perfect place to workout. If you are working out on the beach, make sure you have a bottle of water handy so that you do not get dehydrated. The heat will make you sweat more then you would at the gym, so just make sure to take care of yourself. The best part about working out on the beach is that there is a huge variety of exercises that you can do while still having fun and enjoying the sun. Going on a summer vacation or beach day does not mean you have to skip your workout. Below are a few different ways to enjoy your vacation and keep your workout streak going.

1. Volleyball
There is always a game going on somewhere on the beach. If you do not like to workout in the gym, this is a great option for you. The last thing many people want to do on a summer vacation is spend their time working out indoors. By joining in a game of Volleyball, you do not even have to leave the beach. In addition, a game of beach Volleyball is a great way to bond with the people you are at the beach with, or meet new friends.

2. Football
If you enjoy football, bring a ball along with you. Like Volleyball, this is a great way to exercise without having to go indoors. It too is a great bonding activity, and it only requires a ball.

3. Biking
The boardwalk is a rightfully popular place to bike. Biking on the boardwalk is a great change of scenery from your sidewalk at home. It also allows you to get the feel of the beach while you workout. Biking on the board walk can talk you further than you might go walking, so you will get to see a little bit more of the area you are visiting/staying in. Biking in general is a great workout, so why not bring it to the beach?

4. Rollerblading/ Skateboarding
Rollerblading/Skateboarding has many of the same benefits as biking on the beach. If you enjoy these activities, bring them along with you. You get to stay outdoors, while keeping your body moving.

5. Walking
Never underestimate the power of walking. This is one of the best workouts in my opinion. Walk along the beach or the boardwalk with a friend or family member. Walking and talking is great because you get in a workout, and it does not even feel like you are doing too much work.

6. Running
If you want something a bit more rigorous than walking, running is always an option. Running on the beach may be more entertaining for you than running on the treadmill. Once again, you still get to enjoy being on  the beach wile working out.

7. Swimming
If you enjoy swimming in the ocean, hop on in. Swimming is one of the best workouts because it works out the entire body. Swimming in the ocean is another great way to get your body moving without feeling like you beach time is going towards exercising. If you do not like going into the ocean, there are plenty of pools near the beach that you can checkout. If you are staying in a hotel, there might even be one downstairs.

8. The Hotel Gym
If you are staying in a hotel at the beach, this is always an option. If you do not mind spending some time in, or if you need a break from the sun, this is a great option. The gym has a variety of different workouts that you can do. It is a great nighttime activity if you do not have anything else to do that night.

If you are looking for a good workout to do on your beach day or beach vacation, I hope this helped. And remember to stay hydrated (especially if you are working out under the sun)

Project Runway 10-15-15 Recap Review

Previously on Project Runway: The designers gave members of the Project Runway crew a makeover. Hey guys! Welcome to this week's Project Runway Recap Review! We are getting closer and closer to fashion week each episode and the competition is getting tight. At this point, any of the designers could go home. Last week was packed with drama...but...its a new week, and a fresh slate, so lets get started. Challenge: The five remaining designers will make an outfit inspired by the New York City bridges (Queensborough, Brooklyn, Manhattan). The designers were assigned a bridge from the black bag of doom. Each designer created a textile with a 3-D printer that they had to incorporate into their garment. This is an Avant Garde challenge. Thoughts In The Workroom:  I'm not so sure what I think about 3-D printers...comment down below and let me know what you think about them (in general, not just in fashion). Candice made a good choice not using black again this week. Designers wh...

The Prom Problem: Underwear (Clean)

Previously on the Prom Problem:  I talked about Bra's for Prom. All the special types that may be the best option for your dress. This Week: I thought that it would only be natural to talk about Underwear next. Underwear lines plague everyone at some point but prom is the last place that you want them to show up.Today we will be solving those nasty underwear lines.  I know that everyone has different opinions about sharing underwear secrets online because it is private I guess for some people, but honestly, I think that it is okay as long as your not doing anything inappropriate. I am just saying this to let you guys know that this post is totally clean so if your thinking "oh my gosh what is she going to show us?" Don't worry about it...you can keep reading. On that note, lets take a look at a few solutions to The Underwear Problem. Solution 1: Thongs I am going to talk about thongs first because I think that they are the most common solution for panty lines. ...

Special Post- Inner Beauty- The NJ Sharing Network

Hey guys! I have always intended for this blog to be totally dedicated to beauty and fashion, however, this post is going to be a bit different. Well, I mean, it does kind of fit because all the beauty on the outside does not matter if you are not a beautiful person on the inside (which I am sure that all of you are). Recently, my little sister (Linda) had a kidney transplant. She received her new kidney from an organization called the NJ Sharing Network. The NJ Sharing Network is an organization which connects donor families with recipients. I wanted to help give back to the organization that gave my little sister so much...so I created a team for their annual 5K run. My team is called Linda's Home Team. Last year, my team raised around $3000 dollars for the NJ Sharing Network. This year, we are hoping to surpass that. It would mean the world to me if you guys would follow the link below to my page and give a donation to my team. Every penny counts. I love all of my re...
