Snow Day Boredom Suggestions

Hey guys! Today's post is all about things to do when you are stuck in on a snow day. Where I live, we have not had too many snow days this year...but we do have one today! I thought I would put together a few things to do on these types of days because I know they can get a bit boring.

1. Paint Your Nails:
Sometimes, it is hard to find the time to paint your nails. Take advantage of the extra time you have when snowed in to get this task done! When it is snowing, I always like to use spring colors to remind myself that the warm weather is coming! Below are some of my current favorite nail polishes!

2. Detox From Technology:

It is so tempting to spend the entire day on your phone on a snow day. However, I think it is the perfect opportunity to take a technology detox day. We are all guilty of procrastinating chores and playing on our phones. Putting them away allows us to take time for ourselves and get ahead in these chores etc.

3. Read A Book:

While you are on your technology detox, read a book! In today's fast paced world, it is hard to find time to relax and read a book. A snow day gives you the extra time you need to get in some reading. This is the book that I am currently working on. I think it is really good and I absolutely recommend reading it.

4. Wear Fuzzy Socks:
Okay this is not really a suggestion of how to fill your free time on snow days. However, I think that a cute pair of fuzzy socks is an essential when it is snowing...so I thought I would include it.

5. Clean Your Room:

This is not the most exciting suggestion, but snow days are good opportunities to get some room cleaning done. Personally, I feel like cleaning my room is not a time sensitive thing, so it always gets put on hold. However, there comes a point where I can't stand the mess any longer and it is time to clean. If you have 400 bags and pairs of shoes on your floor, a snow day is the perfect opportunity to tidy up.

Project Runway 10-15-15 Recap Review

Previously on Project Runway: The designers gave members of the Project Runway crew a makeover. Hey guys! Welcome to this week's Project Runway Recap Review! We are getting closer and closer to fashion week each episode and the competition is getting tight. At this point, any of the designers could go home. Last week was packed with drama...but...its a new week, and a fresh slate, so lets get started. Challenge: The five remaining designers will make an outfit inspired by the New York City bridges (Queensborough, Brooklyn, Manhattan). Best Sustainable Brands of 2023

Hey Fashionistas! Recently, I have been trying to make better fashion/beauty choices for the environment so I thought I would share some of my favorites with you. None of this is sponsored (although, if you're one of the brands I mentioned- hi and please feel free to reach out).
