Snow Day Boredom Suggestions

Hey guys! Today's post is all about things to do when you are stuck in on a snow day. Where I live, we have not had too many snow days this year...but we do have one today! I thought I would put together a few things to do on these types of days because I know they can get a bit boring.


1. Paint Your Nails:
Sometimes, it is hard to find the time to paint your nails. Take advantage of the extra time you have when snowed in to get this task done! When it is snowing, I always like to use spring colors to remind myself that the warm weather is coming! Below are some of my current favorite nail polishes!

2. Detox From Technology:
It is so tempting to spend the entire day on your phone on a snow day. However, I think it is the perfect opportunity to take a technology detox day. We are all guilty of procrastinating chores and playing on our phones. Putting them away allows us to take time for ourselves and get ahead in these chores etc.


3. Read A Book:
While you are on your technology detox, read a book! In today's fast paced world, it is hard to find time to relax and read a book. A snow day gives you the extra time you need to get in some reading. This is the book that I am currently working on. I think it is really good and I absolutely recommend reading it.

4. Wear Fuzzy Socks:
Okay this is not really a suggestion of how to fill your free time on snow days. However, I think that a cute pair of fuzzy socks is an essential when it is snowing...so I thought I would include it.


5. Clean Your Room:
This is not the most exciting suggestion, but snow days are good opportunities to get some room cleaning done. Personally, I feel like cleaning my room is not a time sensitive thing, so it always gets put on hold. However, there comes a point where I can't stand the mess any longer and it is time to clean. If you have 400 bags and pairs of shoes on your floor, a snow day is the perfect opportunity to tidy up.

Project Runway 10-26-15 Final Part 1 Recap Review

Previously on Project Runway: The designers created a Red Carpet look. Thoughts in the Workroom: I knew Edmond would get the save!! Edmond really did deserve it. Not coming in prepaired must put on so much pressure. Candice's red and white pants are SO cute! Wait, Ashley what is that stain remover stuff? I need that. Challenge: The designers will show the judges three looks from their collection for feedback. One of those looks would be created from scratch, in the workroom . Guest Judge: No one this week. Welcome to this week's Project Runway Recap Review. I just wanted to start out by saying that I absolutely love this challenge! The Project Runway Crew has worked so hard to bring us fans this amazing show for fourteen seasons. Without the crew, there would be no Project Runway. The crew 100% deserves some designer love!
