Project Runway Season 13 Primer Recap Review

Hey Guys!! Welcome back to the Project Runway Recap Review Series!! This first episode is a sort of audition as three designers will be cut before the first official challenge. In addition, the runway redemption designer will be announced and thrown into the mix. Because  there are so many designers to start out, I am just going to review the top 3 and bottom 3. As per usual, these are my opinions and may contradict what they judges thought...but don't worry, I will also inform you about what the judges did actually thing. Lets get started!  * The three designers to come short of the first challenge were Tim, Nzinga, and Emanual. * * The winer of the runway redemption contest was Amanda Valentine from Season 11. * The Challenge: Make one spring look in one day out of the materials provided to you in a mystery black trunk. Top 3 Amanda: I loved Amanda's look! She made a racer back black top that had two triangles at the bottom. The shirt showed a little sliver...

Middle School Advise: Middle School Fashion

Hey Guys! For today's post, I am going to be talking about fashion in Middle School. After all, this wouldn't be a complete fashion blog mini series without talking about fashion. Obviously, I am no longer in Middle School and do not know all of the in trends for that age group, however, I do know what is and is not age appropriate. The first thing I really want to put out there, and honestly, if this is the only thing you take away from this post, that is okay; DRESSING LIKE A SLUT IS NOT COOL. Crop Tops: Crop tops are not appropriate for school. Booty Shorts: Booty Shorts are not appropriate for school. Mini Mini Mini Skirts: Mini Mini Mini Skirts are not appropriate for school. Fashion is a way to express yourself. One of the things that it expresses is how much you love and respect yourself. I know this is a bit deep but I feel like it is the only way to address fashion in Middle School. A lot of girls and boys find themselves dressing in slutty cloths or having ...

Middle School Advise: Dating in Middle School

Regrets and mistakes our memories make. Hey guys! Today, we are talking about dating. What is okay...and what I would suggest avoiding. I really don't have much else for the intro so lets just get into it. *GIRLS AND BOYS YOUR AGE SHOULD NOT BE HAVING SEX YOU ARE TOO YOUNG* That's all I'm going to say on that topic. Online Chatting: I know that I am starting with the worst first but I have encountered girls in Middle School who think that chatting with cute guys on anonymous dating sites is okay. When you are online, you can be whoever you want to be. You can say your 13 when you are really 35. Online stranger danger is a real thing and there have been people seriously harmed/kidnapped or killed because of it. You do not know who you are talking to online when chatting with a stranger. At any age, it is a risk, but at Middle School age, its a huge risk and one not worth taking. You should NOT online date or chat with strangers no matter what the excuse at you age ...

Middle School Advise: Cursing In School

Hey guys. Today I am going to talk about cursing in Middle School. I decided to talk about this because I remember being curious about it going into 6th grade and I am sure a bunch of you guys are too. I do not want any of you to take away from this post that cursing is necessary or that it is good. Personally, I think that anything can be said without a cure word. In fact, you will always make a stronger point when you do not curse rather than when you do. With that said, I want you guys to know what is coming, so I am going to talk about what really goes on in the halls. Do people curse in Middle School? Yes. Not only do people curse, but they use inappropriate words. It happens and you need to be prepared so that you do not get taken advantage of. Cursing someone out is different than cursing in sentences or jokingly. Honestly, you will prob not be cursed out. However, someone will curse jokingly or in their sentences. When I was in 6th grade, I had a friend who had a dirty mouth...
